Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 April 2026

Version: 3

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sheetify mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by Sheetify Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11061040), with its registered office at 1 Oak Court, 67–72 Bethel Road, Sevenoaks, England, TN13 3UE (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Sheetify is a receipt-scanning and expense-tracking application available on iOS (via the Apple App Store) and Android (via the Google Play Store). The Service allows you to scan, digitise, and organise receipts using your device camera, and optionally sync data with third-party services such as Google Drive.

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality you are paying for, we will provide reasonable notice via the Service or by email.

Sheetify uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to extract and categorise data from receipt images. AI-generated results may occasionally be inaccurate — you should verify extracted data before relying on it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher), your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

3. Your Account

You may need to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@sheetify.io if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

4.1 Subscription Plans

The Service is available on a subscription basis. The current subscription plan, including pricing and features, is displayed within the Service at the point of purchase. As of the date of these Terms, the standard plan is priced at EUR 109.99 per year (annual billing).

All subscriptions are billed through the platform from which you downloaded the Service:

  • Apple App Store — billed by Apple Distribution International Ltd. Apple acts as the merchant of record for all iOS transactions.
  • Google Play Store — billed by Google Commerce Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google acts as the merchant of record for all Android transactions.

Sheetify Limited does not process payments directly. All billing, payment processing, and transaction records are handled by the applicable App Store Platform (Apple or Google). Your purchase is subject to the payment terms and policies of that platform.

4.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period before your paid subscription begins. The current trial period is 7 days. During the trial, you have access to the Service’s premium features, subject to the scan limits described in Section 4.3 below.

Important: Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period, and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. The App Store Platform will charge your registered payment method.

You may cancel during the trial at no cost using the instructions in Section 4.6 below. We reserve the right to modify the duration of the free trial at any time, but any change will not affect trials already in progress.

4.3 Service Limits

Sheetify enforces scan limits based on your subscription status:

  • Free accounts: up to 5 receipt scans per 30-day rolling period, measured from your account creation date.
  • Free trial: up to 10 receipt scans total during the 7-day trial period. This limit is inclusive of any scans already used as a free user in the same 30-day window. The trial ends after 7 days and converts to a paid subscription as described above, regardless of whether the scan limit is reached earlier.
  • Paid subscription: unlimited receipt scans, subject to fair-use protections against automated or abusive activity.

Sheetify reserves the right to adjust these limits with reasonable notice via in-app communication or updates to these Terms.

4.4 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. The renewal charge will be the same as your current subscription price unless we have notified you of a price change in advance (see Section 4.5).

Renewal is processed by the App Store Platform. You can check your renewal date in your device’s subscription settings at any time.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you in advance through the Service or by email, in addition to any notification provided by the App Store Platform. Any price increase will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the notice. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

4.6 How to Cancel

Cancellation must be done through your App Store Platform’s subscription management. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

On iPhone / iPad (Apple):

  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
  3. Tap Sheetify, then tap Cancel Subscription

Or visit: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

On Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  3. Tap Sheetify, then tap Cancel subscription

Or visit: https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. No partial refunds are given for unused time within a billing period.

4.7 Refunds

Because all transactions are processed by the App Store Platform, refund requests must be directed to the platform through which you made your purchase:

Sheetify Limited does not have the ability to process refunds directly, as we are not the merchant of record. The App Store Platform’s refund policies apply.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, graphics, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sheetify Limited and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (such as receipt images and data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, display, and perform automated processing on that content — including AI-assisted data extraction — solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. Details of how AI processing works are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. These include cloud infrastructure, analytics, customer support, subscription management, and optional integrations such as Google Drive. Our use of your data in connection with these services is described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service’s own terms and conditions.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and sharing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Receipt scanning and data extraction are performed using automated technology and may contain errors. You should verify the accuracy of any extracted data before relying on it for financial, tax, or legal purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sheetify Limited’s total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have actually paid to the Company through the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall Sheetify Limited be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To cancel your subscription, follow the instructions in Section 4.6.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate your access for reasons other than a breach of these Terms, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the retention periods described therein. Termination of your access does not automatically cancel any active subscription managed by the App Store Platform. You must cancel your subscription separately through the App Store Platform to stop future charges.

Sections 6, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to the exceptions below.

For EU and UK Consumers

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation in your country of residence, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and mandatory local consumer law, the mandatory local law prevails.

If you are an EU consumer, you also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK)

Under the Consumer Rights Directive, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by initiating a download of digital content (the app and its premium features), you acknowledge and consent that the withdrawal period expires once the digital content has been fully provided. For subscriptions purchased through the App Store Platform, withdrawal rights are exercised against the App Store Platform (Apple or Google) as the merchant of record, in accordance with their refund policies.

13. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sheetify Limited regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing Sheetify caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, power outages, internet or hosting provider failures, government actions, or pandemics.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, provided the assignee agrees to honour these Terms.

Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — such as modifications to pricing, liability, or your rights — the updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. By continuing to use Sheetify after updated Terms are posted, you accept the changes. If you disagree, you may stop using the app and cancel your subscription.
